Grant is the third generation of the Brennan family behind Aberdeen Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning, which has served Hamilton since 1965. He is Textile Pro Certified and is on every DeepSteam.ca job himself. ## Where the family business began Kieran Brennan Sr. founded Aberdeen Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning in Hamilton in the early 1960s. In those years the company did a bit of everything: window cleaning, janitorial work, shampooing and carpet cleaning across the Hamilton area. It was a one-man operation built on turning up when he said he would and doing the job properly. ## The second generation In the 1970s Kieran's son, Keirn Brennan Jr., took over and turned Aberdeen into a specialist carpet and upholstery company. Known for his friendliness and his loyalty to customers, Keirn Jr. built the relationships that made Aberdeen a fixture in Hamilton, and he still runs it today from the Mountain. His wife Cindi joined in an administrative role and has been the voice on Aberdeen's phone for many years. Aberdeen is listed among the [Three Best Rated carpet cleaners in Hamilton](https://threebestrated.ca/carpet-cleaning-in-hamilton-on) and carries well over a hundred Google reviews. ## The third generation and DeepSteam.ca Keirn and Cindi's sons, Grant and Corey, grew up around the business, watching their father serve the community and learning the trade from a young age. Grant went on to found DeepSteam.ca to carry the family's standards to a wider area, from Grimsby east into the Niagara region and west to Burlington, Oakville and Brantford, with modern high-powered truck-mounted steam cleaning at the centre of it. The name is the method. Everything DeepSteam.ca does is truck-mounted hot water extraction: hotter water, stronger vacuum, no machine in your home and no dirty water down your drain. It is what lets Grant say yes to wool, hand-knotted and antique rugs that a general carpet cleaner should turn down, and say no honestly to the few that should not be wet-cleaned at all.
